Primeiro Ministro No SAPO

Visualize Your Vacation
I am going with this simply because I used this with booking my July trip to the Bahamas. Anyway, I think that visualization is big with the travel sites such as Orbitz. These sites use the tool of visualization to lure prospective guest. It is a way for travelers to see where they are going along with reviews without having to leave the comfort of their home.

Vista Games
So, upgrade to Vista today? Excellent! We've got some new casual games just for you: the first four of our "Games Enhanced for Windows Vista" titles are finished and available for download from MSN Games. For those who crave a little textual adventure, there's the fast-paced and lexically challenging Spinword. Puzzle junkies can indulge in two amped-up, feature-packed sequels to the popular Luxor and Jewel Quest games. There's even an action-y, arcade-y, strategically devious title called Darwinia to tempt you into download excess.

The Singapore Flyer In Google Earth
I’ve previously posted a model of this forthcoming attraction, but this time it’s the real thing (last time I stole a model of the London Eye). Phil, the GM - Technical Services at Singapore Flyer Pte Ltd, has kindly created an accurate model of the Singapore Flyer. You can download his model for viewing in Google Earth here.

Hot Asian Stud
A few weeks ago, my mom said she didn’t think any asian guys were hot. I immediately rose to the challenge. But, in all honesty, I shopped around google images for asian hunks and didn’t really find someone that I thought was her type. And then I remembered the one of the hottest men ever and was sure I had her. So, I sent some pics of Toshiro Mifune. She had the nerve to dis’ him.

Future Video
Think ahead 5 years or so. All those videos you rent from NetFlix and Blockbuster...will be delivered over the Internet to DVRs and digital media centers in your home. YouTube might become your provider of pre-recorded TV shows, sports events, and full length movies.

Heck Of A Guy 2006: Who's There?
Search engines may index some sites several times a day, other sites once a month, and still others not at all. If a wonderful post is written on the 3rd but doesn’t find its way into the Google index until the 17th, its peak readership is likely to be at least two weeks after its publication. The Yahoo and MSN search engines indexed Heck Of A Guy only a couple of weeks after it opened, but Google didn’t include it until two to three months later.

Used Treadmills
Similar to newspaper classified, is CraigsList. CraigsList contains free classified ads. You need to go to the section of CraigsList for your local area. Along the right side of the screen, click on your state. Then a list of cities will come up. Click on the city closest to you. You may even want to check other cities if they are not too far away. Now in the “For Sale” section, click on the “Sporting” link. You will find a list of ads, with the most recent listed first. If you see something you are interested in, call the phone number if they list one, or send an email to the “Reply to” email address at the top of the listing. Check CraigsList daily as new listings can appear at any time.

Hildegard Of Bingen: A Spiritual Reader
I’d love my Hildegard book to find its way into an amazon books list (those wonderful listmanias). Teresa Polk has been kind to include my earlier Incandescence: 365 Readings with Women Mystics there. Thanks, Teresa! She’s got some great lists! If you google Teresa Polk, you’ll find her listmanias!

Yahoo Messenger Sneakyware
I used to like Yahoo Messenger. It was my primary IM software when I wasn’t running multi-protocol clients. Unfortunately with recent releases Yahoo had decided to pollute the software with UI clutter in order to integrate Yahoo’s other services.

The Venice Project

Basking In Geekery
After repeatedly committing myself to countless downloads of the 5000 various BitTorrent Mac OSX clients out there, and then learning how to use the damn thing, I finally mastered it today. And when said mastering involves realising what exactly torrent sites are for, a good dose of head slapping upside the head occurs.

Islam's Appeal
The Bible belt is not about to turn into the Our’an belt, any more than Russia is about to turn into Russiastan, so don’t take the “transferring its allegiance” baloney above too seriously. But do check out the video for the comedy. You can watch the full 24-minute documentary, “Turning Muslims in Texas”, on Google Video. Here it is:

1949 Singapore Travellers Map
Acromatic over at yesterday.sg drew my attention to a blog posting by kinkonkid about a 1949 map used to help Chinese travellers to Singapore. Kinkonkid provides a lot of interesting detail about the map in his posting. Acromatic thought it would make an interesting overlay in Google Earth, so that’s what I’ve done.

2006 - My Best Year Ever
Best Damn Tech Show, Period. needed some new blood. A new face, a new friend. People had told us that we had too many guys on the show and I agreed. So I set out to find a “geek chick”. I put ads on craigslist, myspace, and mindsay. I got a message from some gal named Shauna on Mindsay and I read her blog and quickly responded to her. A few emails later, and a tryout video later, she was a BDTSPer. I talked to her about this show that I wanted to do called “scriggity”, and invited her to join me on the adventure. She said yes, and the rest is history.
